Coming from Engineering beginnings, Karl, over a 20 year operating career, has previously founded, managed and exited two startups after which, as DigitalOcean's COO, Karl built the business over six years and prepared it for its eventual IPO (NYSE: DOCN) the value of which peaked at $15B. Karl is now M13’s Managing Partner where he sits on the Investment Committee and leads all aspects of the fund’s operations.
